SAAM is an international annual campaign to raise awareness about sexual violence and to educate and mobilize individuals & communities to prevent it and to support survivors.

Please make sure to go to the building labeled “Brassworks”, at 206 Waubesa Street. No RCC events will be at the other Goodman Community Center location, “Ironworks”, on the other side of the street.

Denim Day: Collective ARTivism Project
Be part of creating a collaborative art piece to highlight the ongoing impact of sexual assault across our campus community and the fact that no survivor is alone. The art piece will live on in the UHS Survivor Services space, in solidarity with survivors on our campus. Drop in at any time during the event to participate.
Safer Bar @ Delta Beer Lab Fundraiser
Open to all community members and patrons who are interested in creating safer nightlife spaces! Proceeds from beer sales will be donated to RCC.

Chimera (ky-MEER-ah) is an inclusive, trauma-informed Empowerment Self-Defense program. You’ll learn to navigate your life and safety the way that YOU want through simple, easy-to-remember techniques. No previous experience necessary! You will learn how to recognize violence before it begins, non-violent defenses & grab escapes, assertive communication, and more!

Pure Nails will donate the proceeds of all RCC nail art the entire month of April!
During the month of April, which is SA Awareness Month, Pure Nails will offer specialty nail art—the RCC teal ribbon. Not only that — throughout 2024, whenever someone leaves Pure Nails a positive Google review, they will donate $10.00 on their behalf to the RCC!

On April 18th from 4-8pm, you can enjoy a delicious Noodles & Co. meal AND support RCC at the same time! On this night, 25% of all qualifying online and in-restaurant sales will be directly donated to RCC!

SAAM Chimera Workshop
Come learn self-defense basics in a safe and supportive environment! Chimera classes are trauma-informed and inclusive—we cover everything from awareness and assertiveness to violent and non-violent physical protection skills. No previous experience or coursework necessary!
