SAVS update continued...

SAVS was the remaining source of financial support for RCC's community education and outreach staff, after the City of Madison cut all funding to that program in 2011's budget.

With our Community Education Coordinator at half time, we've been counting on work study and student staff to continue our presentations to school-age children, teens, and college students throughout Dane County.

This is the essential prevention and social change aspect of the RCC's work - creating change in our community to help reduce the future need for our 24/7 crisis response services.
